Laredo, Texas

Built on the belief that a good morning changes everything

Rise & Grind Café started as a conversation between two friends who believed Laredo deserved a place where coffee was treated as craft and baking was treated as tradition.

We opened our doors on Lomas Del Sur Boulevard with a small oven, a secondhand espresso machine, and a stubborn commitment to doing things the long way. That commitment hasn't changed — it's only deepened.

Today, we're still baking before sunrise. Still pulling shots by hand. Still learning what our neighbors want and then surprising them with it. This isn't a chain. It's not a franchise. It's just a small café that decided to care deeply about the details.

Locally Sourced Ingredients from Texas farms and regional producers
Made Fresh Daily Everything baked and brewed the same day it's served
Community First Supporting local artists, events, and neighbors
There's something about the first sip of coffee here that makes the whole day feel possible. The pastries are unreal, the space feels like a hug, and everyone who works here actually seems to care. This is the kind of place that makes a city better.
